IT'S A BOY FOR TRAVIS AND KATIE!!! So very exciting!!
Meet Wyatt!

He was born 11/19/09 at 12:03 pm, 8.9 pounds and 20 inches.  He's already rocking the mohawk! :)

Congrats to Katie and Travis!

We remember when it all started.... Cocobongo style...

I think this had something to do with it too...

Now I can't wait until Travis and Katie start making videos like this...

Another wedding?? For real?

Pete and Carolyn got married this weekend.  It was a lovely affair.  It was also in South Bend so hardly any traveling for us. Nice!

The bride and groom bought everyone a lottery ticket for a wedding favor.

Andrew, Pete the Groom, and Jaxon

Carolyn-the bride and me

Me, Jane-sister of groom, and Sarah

Swains and Thornburgs

The Swains are in a band called The Ladybirds.  They rock.  Definitely give them a listen! They just signed to an indie label and they're recording an album next year.  You can say you knew them before they were super famous.  Or don't and be jealous when I can say it.  Jerk.

Speaking of bands, they had a band (not The Ladybirds) at the wedding.

Yep, that is the drummer's son "enjoying" the band.

Tomato Beer....

Pete's roommates invented the game Tomato-Beer (because you know, you can't just drink at a wedding. You have to invent a game to make sure you drink too much beer). It's mostly a defensive game. Basically you just guard your cup from getting a tomato put in it.  If you do, then you have to finish it.
The funny part: Some guy (Pete's roommate) dropped the tomato in his beer and then put his arm around Andrew.  He looks at Andrew and goes, "Dude, are you a farmer?"  Andrew shakes his head.  The guy replies, "Because you are built like a brick shit."

Kitchel's Birthday Weekend

For Kitchel's birthday, he wanted to have friends over to drink beer, play KanJam, and watch football.  So that's exactly what we did.
Christina make him a cake, awwww!

Kitchel tended to the fire.

There were feats of strength.

We played ride the bus.

The Number of the Beast made an appearance.

The following pictures show exactly how AJ's night went.

1.) Having a good time

2.) Beam time

3.) Drop Cake on Floor, Pick it up, Eat it, Get it on Face

4.) The End

Way to go, AJ! You flew all the way from Denver last minute and passed out at 8:30 pm! Best. Weekend. Ever.

Kitchel made spectacular chili.  Bowman's face shows how spectacular it was.

And because Casey didn't show up, we all took turns wearing his hat.  Way to get sick, Gallagher!

So pretty soon, I will have the video uploaded from that night.  I cut up a few different videos and put them all together. It's my masterpiece.  It's called Drunkest Moments.  (You know, like Precious Moments with just loads of cussing.)  SOON SOON SOON! NSFW!!!

UPDATE THE VIDEO IS READY! YAY!

To finish off this post, I leave you with this picture.  I have more pictures of my husband doing things like this than I have pictures of the two of us.  What does that tell me?

Take.... these buffalo wings....

Last night Jake and Aditi were home to see Jake's parents. They came over and we went out to have some wings at Wings Etc.  It just so happened that Tuesday night was 100 oz Tanker Night for $10!! Sweet!

It was incredibly tall!

But super foamy! :(

The wings were excellent! I tried Aditi's TNT wings which were 2 levels down from the spiciest wings they have. They were HOT! (No shit?) But also pretty awesome.
Mmmmmm wings...
Anyway, a good time was had by all.

Congratulations are in order... (Beginning of the Baby Boom)

We had some happy news from some friends lately!
Raymond and Meeghan welcome little Baby Raymond Jr on 11/2/09 weighing in at 7 pounds 10 ounces and 20 inches long.

We've been calling him Sweet Baby Ray (or SBR) for awhile now.  Isn't he sweet?

Another congratulations goes to Grant and Ashley and their new baby Max! Max was born on 11/6/09 weighing in at 7 pounds 7 ounces and 21.5 inches long. He's a sweetie too!

Ben and Sarah welcomed baby Elizabeth into the world on 10/29/09.  She was 7 pounds 7 ounces and 21.5 inches long.

Where are these babies getting their fabulous hats??? :)

Congratulations to these three families!

Miiiiiiiitch Please!

I've never really been a huge fan of the Fall season which some people think is almost, like anti-American.  Well I like Summer and Spring, dang it.  Whatever.  So anyway, we are dealing with our first Fall at the house.
So as it turns out, we wanted a house with lots of full grown trees because our last house had one puny toddler tree that was so disappointing.

Look at all that shade!!

The house we purchased has lots of trees and lots of shade.  But we forgot about FALL!!!! OH NO!! LEAF INFILTRATION!! HELP!!

The picture above is actually after we put them all in a pile.  I like to exaggerate how bad the leaves were but they definitely weren't THAT bad.

Here is the pile on the street in front of our house.  Brian watched through the door the whole time. I think he was laughing at us.

We left the leaves over night on the street (I'm sure our neighbors LOVED that) because it got dark after working in the yard FOR AN HOUR!!! (Thank you Daylight Savings Time and Mitch)
Then next night with our house of daylight after work, we bagged them.
Andrew does not like having his picture taken for blog posts.

BUT I DO!!! :)

Look at the bags all in a row.  We used more than a roll of garbage bags to fit all the stinking leaves.

THOSE ARE JUST THE LEAVES IN THE FRONT YARD!!! WHAT WERE WE THINKING??

Actually I do have to admit one thing, as much as I say I don't like fall, I still LOVE the colors.
SO pretty.

Too bad I can only look at the fall colors in the DARK!! MIIIIIIIIIITCH PUH-LEASE!

I don't know how I used to live in the Central Time Zone.  How did I not have a severe Vitamin D deficiency??

Halloween = Murder Spoons

It's my favorite time of year, favorite holiday and favorite excuse to dress like an idiot...
It's HALLOWEEN!!!!

Brandon and Desi hosted a fabulous event at their place.  A costume was required.

From left to right, you can see a LOLCat, Johnny Knox, Da Bears Guy, a Flow Chart and Mother Nature.  Now that's some creative thinking.  Except for Adam, of course, but his was VERY last minute (and an excuse to wear his jersey).

Here is another one of my favorite pictures from the night.  Mostly because of the looks on our faces.  From left to right, you've got Frank (Danny Devito) and Charlie (Charlie Day) from Always Sunny in Philadelphia,  Samurai Cowboy, Da Bears and LOLCat.  If you look to the left, you can see my dad asleep in the chair.  That's my favorite part.  :)

Some other fun pictures from the night...

This is a picture of Lower putting in the vampire teeth and a LOT of M&Ms. (Rainbow-colored drool!)

The Halloween Party was a total success.  Near the end of the night, we played Spoons, which admittedly turned violent.  The game it turned into we dubbed Murder Spoons.  We did not take any pictures of the game of Murder Spoons luckily.  It wasn't pretty.  :)

Here's something pretty.  Awww, bros....

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!
