Tommy's First Basketball Game

Tommy watched a lot of basketball as a newborn.  But on Monday, Tommy attended his first basketball game in person.  Not only was it his first basketball game but it was also a Purdue game!
Hey Robbie!!

Look at that hustle and bustle outside of Mackey Area (or maybe shady camera work).

There we go.  A clear picture.  But don't look so excited to be there, boys.

 Tommy's first look inside!

Check out the players running on the floor!

First Purdue family picture.  Aww.  Tommy looks a little... well, terrified.

He most certainly wasn't terrified of the man's head in front of us.  He kept wanting to grab it for some reason.

What are all those kids doing??

Well Tommy, that's the Paint Crew.  They are there to say "IU Sucks" about 15 times per game.

Oh no! Purdue's free throw shooting is terrible tonight!!

Don't worry Tommy.  Robbie will make the team shape up.

Mackey Area had some renovations done over the summer.  Check out the super fancy gold rich people seats.  They come with an iPad or a caribbean vacation or something.

Grandma and Grandpa were at the game that night too.  The zoom on my camera is incredible.  I'll show you what I mean in a little bit.

 Yay! Go Boilers!

I don't know if I mentioned this but Tommy is still teething.  It feels like this set of teeth have been coming in for about a month now.  Ugh.

 Another lovely family picture. :)

Grandma was getting jealous and had to come over to our section to hold Tommy for a little bit.

Then like any grandma would do, she stole him and went back to her seat.  Now check out this zoom. Here you can see Tommy and Grandma sitting in their seats.  (Uh, that doesn't look like Grandpa Mike.)

This is the actual view from our seats.  Can you see them?

Here they are! Now that's one incredible zoom!

The game started pretty close to Tommy's bedtime so we were pretty mean parents to keep him up so late. Grandma tried to get him to go to sleep but the Paint Crew kept waking him up.

 Hail Hail to Old Purdue!

GO BOILERS!! Happy First Game, Thomas!
