The day after the Christmas show, Tommy's daycare had a fun relaxing movie day since they knew a lot of the kids would be up past their bedtimes that night. They asked that all the kids wear their pajamas. They were going to take a trip on the Polar Express! I thought it was a really neat idea.
The Polar Express is one of my favorite books. I can't wait until Tommy can experience the magic of this time of year.
The whole day was Polar Express themed. They had Polar Express coloring pages. He didn't really follow the directions. You were supposed to color the boy, not the conductor! Tommy makes his own rules.
They also had tickets to get on the train! Love it!
They told us they were going to try to watch the movie at some point during the day but they knew the babies class wouldn't last very long. The only time Tommy has ever paid attention to the TV is when the Muppets showed up on ESPN one morning. There are no Muppets in the Polar Express.

You will have to take on the actual train ride when he gets older..... Jenny took the kids and it was amazing! (in Indy somewhere!)
