Charlotte's New Teeth

Charlotte came home from daycare on Valentine's Day with 2 brand new teeth! Big surprise! Two at once!

It took forever to get a picture of them. I think I took about 20 pictures before I got the right angle. 

Most of the pictures looked like blurry versions of this. 

Then I just gave up and took cute pictures like this. 

Look at that sweet outfit. So cute.

 Yes, this is a chair on top of a couch with a sippy cup inside of a regular cup.  It's like a M.C. Escher picture, amirite?? Ok maybe not.  But still strange anyway.

Two on Top

 Hey you! Get out of mommy's purse! (And highly discreet pump bag. Pump-in-"style", I don't think so.)

 After a couple weeks of little to no sleep and a cranky little man, we finally have a kiddo with FOUR teeth.

He's much happier and crawling all over the place.  It's hard to get a picture of those toofers with Mr. Fast Action Jackson.

The best way to get a picture is to just flip him upside down.

This is Tommy's new trick.  You pick him up. Ta-da!  He sits down.  Ta-da! He stands up (which he's doing on his own now). Ta-da! Arms in the air.  He is one proud little dude.  Love it!

Moving on, I have tried and tried and TRIED to get a picture of the little man's teeth.  FINALLY, today I captured the pearly beauties in action.

This look on his face reminds me of the duck hunt dog laughing. Heeheehee! What a stinker!

Tommy Two-Teeth

Just recently we were blessed with the amazingly fun process of TEETHING!!! Tommy was quite fussy and a little sickly throughout the sprouting of two teeth in less than two weeks.  It's the bottom two. (I've been clued in that the top two front teeth are even worse. Hooray!) 

Now that they've busted through, I've been trying to get a picture.  (Notice the sweet potatoes that didn't get wiped off his face.) I've tried doing close ups.

I've tried getting a helper to open his mouth.  This just pissed him off.

I tried taking pictures sideways.

I've tried upside down pictures.  Nothing seems to be working.
(By the way, look at how dirty his onesie is! Gross! Someone's been chowing down on baby food!)

But I know pretty soon, he'll be smiling with that toothy grin and he won't be able to hide them for much longer.

I'll keep trying to catch a glimpse of the elusive toofers.  :)
