On Saturday, we drove down to Westfield for Erin's wedding.
Look at that beautiful bride and handsome groom! Aww!
They drove off in a sweet Camaro while people waved black and white ribbons.
It was only 100+ degrees that day so I'm sure they were perfectly comfortable. :) Good thing they had a breeze (while moving).
After the ceremony, the wedding party drove pontoons across the Morse Reservoir to the reception hall which was the South Harbour Clubhouse in Noblesville.
We all got to watch them get their pictures taken on the boat and on the beach outside the reception hall. It was so cute and the sunset on the lake was awesome!
The pictures on the boat turned out awesome. These are my friend Sarah's pictures so I can't wait to see what the photographer, (Trucker) Jen, was able to capture. :)
What a gorgeous bride!
Lindsey gave the speech as the matron of honor. She did a wonderful job. Lindsey described Erin perfectly, as a scientist (she's a DVM) who sees everything in black and white. She never believed in being swept off her feet until Chris came along. She told Lindsey, "Linds, I'm a goner." Too cute!
Erin and Chris came over to our table for a little bit.
The table decorations were awesome, as per usual. Lindsey's mom does an awesome job.
After dinner it was dancing time. We did some major dancing! A lot of the robot actually. :)
They played an iPod with some sweet tunes and we partied down...
While posing for some Bomber pictures...
And more Bomber pictures! Corn-fed girls from Rensselaer! :)
Then Chris's friend's band played. They were a country band which is not always my cup of tea but they rocked. Plus they played a few non-country songs and let Chris, his brother, and dad sing. This was Superstitious by Stevie Wonder. You can see Erin's nephew, a 10.5 month old little man named Kason (also the ring bearer). He was still up jamming to the band. :)
Surprisingly, all 3 kids (two flower girl nieces and one ring bearer nephew) were awake (kinda) for most of the night. They must have enjoyed rocking out to the band.
Most of the pictures above are from Sarah's super nice camera. I only had my iPhone and this picture is pretty much the best shot that my phone took that evening. We look like we're being followed by paparazzi (only because someone else's flash went off when Andrew took the picture).
I took a picture of the dance floor. I really enjoyed the girl in the blue. She was sashaying and doing a hoe down for most of the night. It was quite entertaining.
Andrew enjoyed watching the dance floor too... from a chair. :)
The end of the night was when the creeps really started to come out. Who interrupts a bride and groom while they're dancing?? Come on! :)
Oh, bridesmaids. That's who interrupts a bride and groom during the last dance of the night. :)
Congrats on your wedding, Erin and Chris! It was gorgeous!! We had a wonderful time. We wish you many years of happiness!
