Christmas Selfies!
I want to start a new tradition every year and get a picture by our Christmas tree as a family. But it has to be a timed selfie. I set the timer 3 times and it took 10 pictures each time. We didn't have any Christmas clothes on for this but we were running out of time and I wanted a picture no matter what we were wearing because we gotta capture that moment in time! :-) So these are my favorite pictures from those sets. What were we doing??? I have no clue.
Merry Christmas from us to you!

Suuuuuper Quick Catch Up Post...
Ok folks. I haven't blogged in almost 2 months. I barely remember how to do it. So now I have to catch up... and catch up I will. As Andrew and Samuel L Jackson say, "Hold on to your butts..."
So what did we do in the last two months?? Well...
We went to a wedding with my parents of someone with whom I work. The kids had school pictures.
We hung out with Wyatt, Harper and Everett.
We went to Burger King before Wyatt and Harper's b-day party.
Even Andrew got in on the action.
The party was at a gym so all my pictures were blurry because there was so much action. I got one that was sort of in focus at least!
We had cupcakes! YUM!
Wyatt and Harper did too! Super fun birthday party!
Then we had T-burg Thanksgiving at our house!
Charlotte was a big fan of Thanksgiving!! YUM!
On the Friday after Thanksgiving, my high school football team, the Renssy Bombers went to the State Finals. THEY WON THE STATE 2A CHAMPIONSHIP! Charlotte cannot believe it!!
It was awesome for so many reasons (such as this, and this and this this this...)
It was a real high school reunion for many of the classes that graduated from RCHS. We had over 6000 in attendance (more than the population of the town of Rensselaer) and people came from all across the country to see the Bombers play in the Luke. People streamed the game online from several different countries and many, many states. Very exciting.
The next day we set up our Christmas tree!
And Charlotte had some yogurt!!
We had Christmas with the Keipers at my parents where Tommy celebrated his birthday again!
Tommy got a new chair as one of his gifts and Charlotte decided it was hers.
Tommy had his own little glow stick party.
I temporarily considered using this as my Christmas card this year.
How does one get into a situation like this at Target, Miss Charlotte?
Final picture of the super quick round up... Uncle Adam took Tommy for a ride in a Target bag!
Ok so that was the catch up post... Now it's on to DISNEY! Stay tuned!!

Christmas 2013
So Christmas…
Yes, I'm a little late on these posts. Time really gets away from me these days. So let's talk about Christmas. First, there was our Christmas card. We set up my new camera and stood out in the snow in our jammies. Then we took some pics inside of just the kiddos. Charlotte looks like a cabbage patch doll in this shot! :)
We also tried some other shots that did not make it on the Christmas card. Haha!
Charlotte had several Christmas outfits as you can tell.
Our first Christmas of the year was the Sunday before and it was in Renssy.
The best gift of the night was a GIANT DOLPHIN. Tommy kept saying "I got a GIANT DOLPHIN!" Then he would ride it like a horse.
Charlotte didn't know what to think.
Tommy quickly got bored while everyone else was opening presents so he played 5,4,3,2,1 Blast Off with Grandpa.
Then she fell asleep. With all the noise, this was really impressive.
Then we took a family photo! Oh those crazy Keipers-Keipers-Bickleys-Thornburgs.
Then it was time for Christmas Eve…
We let Tommy open one gift. It was from his Godmother Traci. Oh my, it was a good choice!
You can see it in this picture. It's a four-wheeler pulling a jet ski. Are you kidding me?? Awesomeness! He lined it up with some of his other toys. Loved it!
Then we watched It's a Wonderful Life. I cried. Duh.
THEN SANTA CAME!!
He filled out stockings too!
Tommy got a drum set. Thanks so much, Santa! ;-)
Then we watched movies all day. The Aristocats was the choice of the day. Thanks, Netflix! :)
Then we made allergy-free Grinch cookies (sugar cookies with green icing).
YUMMY! Best allergy-free cookies I've made to date! They were greasy as you can see in this picture but they actually tasted like cookies! Sweet! Thanks, Squeezy Parkay!
Charlotte enjoyed watching us decorate and looked super cute doing it!
Then the following Saturday we had Christmas in Fishers with the Thornburgs.
We tried to get Tommy to ride Otis but it didn't work out so well. We spent some time trying to get Charlotte to nap in a new environment. She did but she liked to fight it!
But Tommy had a great time!
Charlotte had a good time too, hanging out in everyone's arms.
Then we took a family picture. Andrew thought the walls would make a good green screen. Boy was he right!!
This was my first not so successful try.
Then oh the humanity, we tried this one.
Finally we thought this would be a good ending to the green screen posts.
We laughed so hard at these. Love them!
We really had 3 lovely Christmases this year. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!
