Not only did Santa stop by our house for Christmas but we were also blessed to be visited by some friends too.
On the Friday before Christmas, my friend Krissi and her boyfriend Joe stopped by to meet Tommy for the first time.
They stopped by on their way from Birmingham. They hailed from Alabama and they were fixing to get to West Lafayette. Sorry, I had to. ;-)
Then on Monday after Christmas our friends the Glovers stopped by with their son Jack. You might remember them from these posts.
Tommy immediately got SUPER excited to see him. He grabbed him right away and put his hands all over his face.
Tommy wanted hugs!! Jack was like "Um mom, what is this guy's deal??"
Then Tommy accidentally knocked Jack down and he his head hit the floor. It didn't phase Jack whatsoever (he's a tough guy) but it must have scared Tommy because he burst into tears. He didn't want his new friend to be hurt! So empathetic! :)
So then he hugged Jack AGAIN. "So sorry bro!"
Then it was play time!
We're just two towheads and we're having a good time!
Jack also brought along a gift for Tommy for his birthday. A drum with lots of other musical instruments inside!! I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, Tommy or Dada!
It was fantastic to see you guys! Thanks so much for stopping by!

The Three M's and Their Little Boys
Sunday was a special treat for me. I got to see two of my very best friends from high school that I love dearly and their two boys (who I now also love dearly!) My friend Megan lives in Indy and since we moved to South Bend, I only get to see her about once a year at the annual Glover Christmas Party. I got to meet her little boy shortly after he was born but I haven't seen him since. My other friend Meeghan lives in New Mexico (but is moving to Nashville this fall!!) and I haven't seen her since shortly after her son was born and he's almost TWO!
Meeghan was going to be in town from ABQ so we scheduled a mommy/baby play date luncheon type thing. It was AWESOME!! It was SOOO good to see these girls.
The play date started off a little rough. Tommy wasn't there for maybe 5 minutes when he started barfing. He choked on his phlegm when he coughed and just yakked and yakked and yakked. I felt so awful. First of all, he retched all over himself in his really cute Polo shirt and all over the carpet at Megan's parents' house. Then he scared himself and screamed and cried. Then he fell down and cried again.
I told the girls that it was just like how I used to party in college. Scream, cry, fall down, and barf all over everything. :)
So here is Tommy after the 'incident'. (There's Jack in the background. He knows to keep his distance.)As soon as Jack and Tommy sat by each other, I told Ray to go over and sit by them so I could start being a photo hog. Poor kids. But you can tell, they are used to getting their pictures taken. But DUH! They're so dang cute, of course they're going to have their pictures taken paparazzo style.
But Tommy always wants me to get a close up of him.
The boys had a great time playing together especially with that ottoman. It was the perfect height for the boys to pull themselves up.
But Little Ray was always King of the Hill and rightly so. :)
So here are the three M's and their boys. Morgan, Megan, Meeghan with Tommy the Tank, Jackman, and Lil Ray the Rooster. (I just realized the similarities between these boys. Tommy and Jack were named after their grandpas and Ray was named after his daddy! Aww!)
In the last picture, Tommy and Jack were paying attention to Ray but in this one they're like "When can we get down?"
Awww! Look at Ray Jr. So cute! He's going to be a big brother to a little boy in January!
Here's Jack! Blue-eyed, blonde haired boy. Looks just like his daddy!
Look at Tommy T. The girls were telling me that they thought he looked like Andrew. I didn't realize until I saw this picture that they are RIGHT!
JUST like him!!! WOWZERS! A mini Drewfus!
Awww Tommy and Jack exchanging pleasantries. :)
Oh the trouble we used to cause. Now we're trying to keep our boys out of trouble. :)
But they're such good boys. They don't need any help. Look at Ray and Tommy hugging. So cute!
It was so hard to say goodbye (Boyz II Men anyone?) but the boys were getting fussy. It was definitely nap time.
Tommy had fallen asleep by the time he reached Bunkum Road (that only means something if you're from Renssy). He was TIRED! That play date really pooped him out. He took an excellent nap when we got home.
It was so good to see those girls, especially with their boys. It's so cool to see my friends become parents. I hope I get to see them more often. My favorite quote of the day, "I ain't afraid to dish out a whoopin'!"

Happy Birthday Max: Our Indy Visit
We made a day trip to Indy on Saturday for Max's 1st birthday party. Boy, it was weird to go to a party there with 8 babies and 4 preggos. The last time we were at their house was for a New Year's Eve party complete with a full beer pong tournament. The day/night turned out much different this time around.
Starting with BIRTHDAY CAKE!!
YUM! Sugar high!
Here's Andrew holding Max's best bud Jack. I'm sure Jack was a little jealous of the cake chow down but his birthday is in a few weeks too. Just hang on until then, Jack. Not too much longer!
Here are the best buds Jack and Max playing with the coolest toy. I want one! (Do they make them in adult sizes?) It's Max's inflatable hopping horse named Rody! So cool! It comes in many colors. It's also French. Oh la la. :)
Just as we were thinking about taking off, Max became extremely interested in those bright shiny presents in the corner. Turns out, he started opening ours first! Andrew picked out and wrapped this gift all by himself so I couldn't wait to see how Max would like it.
Oddly enough, it became a baby magnet! Everyone wanted to play with the cool new toy. It is this top-like device that you put plastic balls in, press down on the top, and the inside starts spinning. When the inside spins it throws the balls around and when you open the window the balls fly out. It was a HIT! They would pick up the balls and put them back in and watch them shoot out again. Tons of fun for those baby boys!
Note to self: Have Andrew pick out all kids gifts from now. :)
Look at how fun this is!
After the birthday bash, we headed over to the Glovers to see new baby Jack.
Look at him!! So tiny and so cute! Happy 3rd day of life Baby Jack!
I'm sad I didn't get a picture with Megan or Tristan but I guess that's what happens when you have a baby. Better get used to it huh? :-)
I can't believe we're going to have one of these soon! CRAZY!
Oh quick side note. We woke up Saturday morning to THIS before leaving South Bend.
Yep, the Great White North is back for another season! It was fun to show everyone in Indy how much snow we got.
I really don't think they were jealous. Weird, huh? :)
But by the time we got home that night, the snow was mostly gone. This is abnormal for South Bend, only because we usually have snow like this in October so it's a little late this year. Yeah, abnormal in THAT regard. Oh joy.

The Super Happy News Post!!!
I love super happy news. I've got three super happy things to share.
First! Happy Super Belated Birthday Brittany!!!
Brittany was my Very First Birthday Post last year! I've been wishing happy birthdays through my mega awesome Paint skills for a YEAR now. Can you believe it? Happy Birthday to you, Sweeney-ass and Happy Birthday to birthday posts on my blog.
SECOND! Happy Birthday to Sweet Baby Ray! He is one year old on November 2nd!
Here he is one year ago...
Here he is... well not today. But back in August. I wish I had a more updated picture of him (Meeghan!).
But who cares because that picture is so darn cute!
FINALLY, your last bit of super happy news.
Welcome to the world, John "Jack" Casey Glover!!! Bi-yotch looks gorgeous, no? Did she really *just* have a baby?? Come on, mess your hair or something! Ha!
You remember Megan from this post about our eggos being preggo together, right? It has been quite fun comparing preggo stories.
So anyway, Jack was born on November 3rd at 5:25 am weighing in at 5 lbs 10 oz. He was in a slight rush to meet mom and dad but of course he was perfectly healthy. Happy happy news for the Glover family.
Such a sweetie! I can't wait for our boys to make trouble together! (Meeghan, you'll need to make sure Ray keeps Jack and Baby T in line, being that he's older and wiser!)
