The pictures will hopefully explain themselves. The picture on the left is the "Before" pic and the picture on the right is the "After" picture.
We plan to eventually replace the shower stall but for now it shall do. :)
We aren't completely done with everything. There are still some touch ups and some matching decor.
Here's a couple close-up shots of the floor.
We started at 10 in the morning and finished up at around 1 am. It was a long day. Long days call for mishaps. First there was the testosterone-filled demolition of the wall cabinet. Then there was the idiotic idea on my part of moving the ladder WHILE THE PAINT BUCKET WAS STILL ON IT. Nice one, Morgan.
But don't worry, Purdue. We'll still be fans. We actually ran into a man in his 60s at Menards wearing a Purdue sweatshirt. We of course had to talk to him because it's pretty rare to see a Purdue fan in Notre Dame country. He said, "I've been a Purdue fan for a long time and I've seen some pretty bad football. So I'm just going to look forward to basketball season." Well said, friend.

It looks like you have a delightful linen closet in your bathroom. That's a very nice feature. Your neutral color choices make it look very spa-like! It's amazing what the little changes can do. We had testosterone and estrogen driven madness putting up our bookshelves. Our casualties were one light bulb, one section of crown molding, one fireplace stone and the skin on many digits and shins. Oh, the joys of home improvement. Okay. That comment was lame, but long, so let's see if it's working.
Okay, I also have to say that the fish are creepy.
ok i am leaving a comment
Oh good, i'm so glad the comments are working again. Shiela I want to see pictures of your renovation... and the skinned digits!
I liked the creepy fish! They follow your mouse! (Well yeah, i guess that's a little creepy.)
But the puppies are cute, right? :)
Thanks for the effort Brandon!! :)
